What is Medical Thermography?
Medical Thermography aka Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging, and medical Infrared Imaging. It's a safe way of imaging the human body with NO radiation, NO physical contact, and NO compression with a Breast Thermogram. Thermal imaging provides health care professionals with additional information from a different point of view in their patient's physiology revealing altered biochemical changes. Thermal imaging can be extremely helpful in facilitating a proper treatment plan, and is especially helpful in monitoring patients during any type of hormone therapy. Even Dentists are using thermal scans now.
What is Breast Thermography?
Breast Thermography aka a thermal breast scan analyzes BREAST "PYSIOLOGY", as where a Mammogram is different because it analyzes the BREAST "ANATOMY". A breast mammogram aka mammography uses radiation and breast compression to take x-ray images of the breast, which is only in greyscale, which can reveal solid calcifications or masses. Thermography can reveal changes in physiology by measuring and monitoring temperature variations and patterns that show up over a period of time. Breast thermography when used along with other FDA approved screening tests, can reveal early warning signs of physiological changes (especially in dense breast tissue) thereby allowing for early signs of a pathological concerns.
